But, if you have a full-time job, you know that fitting in a consistent gym routine can be difficult. Magna Clava stepped in to create an app-based solution that’s sold to employers as an inexpensive option to offer their workers. By becoming a part of the Magna Clava system, businesses get access to a great perk; the ability for their employees to go to any gym in the network, scan a QR code for effortless entry, and work out at a discounted rate at the facility or class they want.

The Challenge // Convince Employers of the Value of Magna Clava

While Magna Clava is an app that directly benefits people who work out, their marketing with this explainer video is actually targeted at their employers. Seeing the employers as the biggest potential for revenue gives us an interesting challenge. How do we hook in businesses and get them interested in a product that, on the surface, costs them money but mostly benefits their workers?

The Solution // Make the Argument for Healthy Employees

Using fun characters and humor, we open the Magna Clava explainer video with a strong visual hook. At first, it seems like the setting is in a gym. When the camera pulls back, we realize that people are actually working out in their office. It’s a fast, effective way to establish that sometimes it feels as if there isn’t enough time in the day to fit work and workouts in. At the same time, we remind the target audience about how important it is to have healthy employees. Then we transition into what Magna Clava does, how it does it, and we make the case for how healthy, happy people contribute to a more productive workspace.
